BMPA website up and running again! The site has been down for a couple of weeks due to technical problems but is now up and running again. Certain features of the site may still be affected for a short while - please let the webmaster know. The biggest change is that there should be a vastly improved email response time!9th June 2003
Summer meeting not at Shenington for the first time since its inauguration - instead at Thruxton and Middle Wallop. Autumn meeting will be in Brighton.28th March 2003

The Autumn Meeting has come and gone and proved to be an interesting and entertaining get together. Look out for a new programme of meetings next year, as well as reports from this year's meetings appearing here soon.29th July 2002
Around 40 people attended the Summer meeting at Shenington at some point over the 3 days, including 11 medical students. The weather was fantastic and the gliding enjoyed by all, although the karting was unfortunately cancelled due to a mix up at their end. The photos are already available in the photo album, as for several other meetings. There is now a brief history of the BMPA and some of it's past meetings available online. Plans for Newcastle in the Autumn have mostly been finalized and you should be getting your booking forms in soon.11th May 2002
The Spring meeting was one of the best attended Spring meetings in recent years and seemed to be enjoyed by all who attended. Preparations are well in hand for the Summer meeting which should be even bigger and better than last year's.26th February 2002
The spring mailing is in the process of being sent out and contains details of this year's spring meeting (including a full programme, map, list of local attractions and booking form), a diary of events for 2002 and the spring newsletter which contains extensive reports from last year's Autumn meeting at Bristol, Tortworth and Kemble. The Autumn meeting was a great success, enjoyed by all. A full report will follow in the next newsletter, as will photos from the event. Next year's diary as well as details of the new format for meetings will appear here soon.25th July 2001

The summer meeting at Shenington is on! A final check will be made in around two weeks time but barring a sudden re-emergence of foot and mouth everything should proceed as normal.12th March 2001
The summer meeting at Shenington is threatened by the spread of foot and mouth disease. The meeting is currently going ahead but you are advised to check before travelling. If the meeting is cancelled it will be posted here.21st February 2001
The 2001 late summer meeting is being thought about. Preliminary feedback suggests that Bristol is about as far West as people wish to go so the secretary is making tentative noises in that direction. The president is threatening to fly the secretary to Newquay for an inspection and Yeovilton or Yeovil are other possibilities Support or other ideas are still welcome.Please would those of you who have not returned the contact details update slip put it high on your list of priorities.
