About the BMPA > About membership
Membership is open to any member of the medical, dental, or veterinary community, qualified or in training, who holds or has held a flying licence. Aviation Authority approved Authorised Medical Examiners are also eligible.Subscription is currently £15 annually on the 1st April, preferably by bankers order, or by cheque payable to the British Medical Pilots Association. This fee is waived for students during training towards their primary professional qualification.
The Association is a corporate member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and a member of the General Aviation Awareness Council (GAAC). Close links are also maintained with our sister organisations in France and Germany, L'Association Aeromedical and The German Flying Physicians. Members are encouraged to attend European meetings.
